I’ve a comm fault on my enforcer. I haven’t changed my router, SSID or password. I have the user & engineer codes but cant clear the fault. It’s in the garage with solid concrete wall between it and router so possible WiFi has weak signal. To combat this I setup a WiFi extender today and named it with a different SSID. Connected the enforcer to it. Fault went away but came back within the hour. Not sure what else to try as I can’t set my alarm. My key fob just flashes amber. I do have option to set it with fault if I enter my user code but I don’t go in my garage to exit my house so can’t use it. How do I check the WiFi signal strength to the enforcer? Any other guidance for me?

Thank you

It’s in engineer diagnostic….you can view WiFi strength….has the WiFi jumped channels above 11 …I think the enforcer only supports up to channel 11 …but I could be wrong …

sorry for the late reply I’ve been on holiday. I’ve rebooted the router and reset it but no change. How do I power down the panel? Is there an easy way? It’s hard wired in. I could turn off power to the whole downstairs circuit but that would turn everything off.

Take front off panel …it will go off …enter code …unplug the power supply it pulls off ..open battery compartment unplug battery ….wait 30 secs ….plug battery back in , plug psu back in , put front back on …enter code , then yes to reset ….wait to see if time corrects itself …if so it’s re connected to internet

Thanks this worked
