Hi all,

Want to change my existing wired alarm in my new house so would the following be ok so I can add wireless door contacts and control via app.

Anywhere else I can also buy the stuff from?

So I’ve looked at all the kit and now wondering if I can even fit the outputs.

How many wired PIRS can even be put on this system?

Can 6 x wired pir be fitted
Wired keypad
Wired bell
Wired sounder
Wifi digi
Wireless expander all in one panel?

Standard panel 8 zones , plus 2 on keypad ….so 10 , then up to 76 zones by wireless expanders or hard wired expanders …plus 2 zones for every keypad fitted …

Thanks for your reply, I have installed euro46 mini before which has 4 wires connected.

could you tell me how many wires I need to wire a PIR? 12v, 0v, Z1 from below pic

You can EOL your devices with resistors or just 4 wire it or even mix it with this panel ….what is your existing panel and how is that wired ?

The 2 terminals on the pir that say EOL will connect to EOL and COM on the zone input. Then fit jumpers on the pir for resistors normally 2k2 tamper and 4k7 alarm

Pir require 12v 0v then either EOL (two wires) or all 4 depending how you’re wiring. So minimum 4 wires needed

Looks like a veritas so just 4 wire them…you won’t have to mess around changing things at the detector end …If your struggling with something like this , then are you up to installing this ?
