hi there
this is the second pyronix enforcer i have owned the first on when you did not touch the panel for a while would dim but this one just stays bright lit is there something in the setting to make it go dim

Press and hold D wait til Panel asks for “security code” enter 2000. Press No until you get backlit option you can toggle on/off

thanks for that tried that backlit option not there but 2000 did not work used 2222 to manager mode and also tried engineer mode and no backlit option

in the 2000 menu there’s an option called backlight force no?

You need to be in the keypad menu, not engineer menu or manager menu.

Press and hold D for 5secs

that worked how do i exit the menu proppley as when i exit i kept seting off the alarm

Yeah its a glitch in the software, when you exit it goes into 485 coms lost. Enter your user code and reset as usual. Later models don’t do this, it’s just the earlier ones.
