I have a Pyronix with 2 DTP and 2 DP seasons installed which is working well. Currently, I have the pet masks removed but am about to get a small cat. I found that with the pet masks installed, the sensors were not nearly sensitive enough.
Are the masks required for small cats or will this work without? The Pyronix website says that pet detection works based on weight/volume, so I am not sure how these masks are relevant as they essentially block out part of the scanned area!
Separate question - is it worth upgrading from a v9 to a v10 for the Wifi functionality or does this attract an annual cost? I'm keen to be able to disable the alarm remotely in case the cat does trigger it...
