Pyronix PIR or Dual Tec

Looking for the pro’s and con’s of both...

Im putting either a PIR or Dualtec into a swimming room

Either or better for the job?

Suggested sensitivity level on the microwave if I go for a Dualtec?

Dual technology sensor every time.
You will get less false alarm with a dual tech .
If cost is an issue then use true quad pir

Any guide on the sensitivity?

Depends on size of room .
Some have standard range or long range jumper
Some have adjustable pot for microwave range
Large area's of metal you may need to adjust microwave sensor.
Microwave can go through glass?

Personally I’d go with the Quad on low sensitivity. Dual tech only needed in conservatory’s or if the detector is in direct sunlight.
