Thanks for that, are they all the same size, terminal positions, 12v ect.
I want to buy the battery before i take the cover off, so i can replace it in 1 go.

Your control panel will take up to a 7.0ah battery
If could have 2.8 ah in side
All the terminals are the Same size on the batteries
I would purchase a 7.0 ah battery
Greater standby time in power fail.

Also, if i kill the power, and battery, will i have to reprogram all the settings.
I plan on changing a couple of PIRs aswell.

Why do you want to power down the panel?

You only have to touch the battery, NOTHING ELSE.

To change the battery open panel remove old battery then connect the new one, Red to Red - Black to Black

Close panel

That's the basics.

On opening the panel you will have to enter your code (or the Eng. code) to stop the noise

Depends how careful you are. I would just go to the panel and remove one leg of the 12v supply to the PIR.

I wouldn't really, I would do it still powered up, but I've must have done 100s of detectors over the years.
