I've built a brick BBQ in the garden and intend tiling the top with black quarry tiles. As the heat could be an issue to a regular tile adhesive (?) I was going to use Fire Cement.
However, will this adhere to the bare brickwork ok?
Should I prime it first?
Is the fire cement suitable for exterior conditions (waterproof)?
Could the quarry tiles crack due to the heat from the BBQ or maybe the frost in winter?
Any ideas or pointers would be helpful. Thanks All
