I thought this would be the best place to post this query as I know there are loads of people on here that will know about these tools.

I found an old insulation tester in the back of the garage today, it's a Megger BM101. It's in very good condition - looks completely unused and it comes complete with the original leads, clips and prods. It also has the original operating instruction booklet which looks almost unused and it comes in a carry case that I believe was an optional accessory when new, although the outside of the carry case is a bit tatty.

Of course, everything works perfectly.

I was just wondering if it would be worth selling this and how much I could get for it because I have no use for it and I'm in need of some cash (as ever).

Any ideas?

Many thanks.

You proberly would get at least £30 for it, its proberly not calibrated, but ideal for fault finding etc or you could get it calibrated.

With the case and leads worth more than that.
Used one for many years doing pyro work very robust and reliable

Thanks for the replies all.
I saw that ebay listing and thought I'd ask on here as mine had accessories included.

The case has actually come up quite nicely now that I've cleaned it, it looks in pretty good condition.

On the whole, the whole set could pass as barely used condition.

Best to wait until the auction for the other one has closed, check the winning bid price and pop it on FleaBay.
