question about hsa3070 yale wirefree alarm

Hi,

Have looked here and elsewhere to see if the fire alarm sounds when the system is sounding. I understand the fire alarm will trigger (a different sounding) external siren. But would like to know if the other way around is true.

I don't know, but I wouldn't expect it.

All the Yale sensors of that range transmit only, and the siren receives only. The panel receives from sensors and transmit to the siren.

Unless the smoke detector has a receiver (which I doubt) then it would not be able to sound in a burglary.

Did you find anything in the instructions?

If a smoke detector transmits the siren will activate and make a different sound to the normal tone.
