Hi guys,

Quick question about our combi boiler. This is a picture of the temperature knob:

I just wondered what the section in the middle means. It is labelled 'Auto'. We don't have a thermostat connected to the boiler, is it something to do with that? If I turn the knob to the middle point for instance, it won't do anything different will it?

I've looked in the boiler's manual, but it's like reading something that has been translated into English using Google Translate

Thanks :D

Your post should be entitled, "guess the make and model of my boiler"
No offence meant, but come on.

That is a Vokera Compact if Im not mistaken and the dial means

The heating flow temperature selector can be
adjusted from a minimum of 40 °C, to a maximum
of 82 °C. In addition, when the selector is rotated
to the Auto position, the appliance will
automatically adjust the outlet flow temperature
to compensate for inclement weather
