Hello Forum.

Hope you can help me with what I hope is a simple question. My PCB is faulty (or at least all signs point to that) so I have got refurb replacement from CET Ltd.

I understand that when I swap out the board I will get an F70 fault and I will need to go into the menus to the d93 variable and put a '4' in my case so the board can work with this model of boiler.

I assume the other values in the table showing the d93 value such as Max flow temp, Pump overrun mode etc would have been set at time of installation.. or they may well have been left at factory defaults. I haven't checked them to see if any vary from factory defaults and I don't really want to do that unless I have to.

Question. Do I need to get any of these values (or any others) from the existing PCB before I swap out and copy these values over to the new board or are they stored elsewhere in the boiler, eg on the display pcb?

I'm looking at this thinking those values have to be stored somewhere and Im about to take out the place where they are most likely stored!

Thanks for any help.
Regards
Scott.

Refurbished boards are not approved for use and cannot be confirmed to be safe.

Additionally, you should not be removing the casing of your boiler, which you need to do to access the PCB, unless you are Gas Safe Registered and competent to carry out the required 26.9 checks prior to putting it back into operation

Thanks Muggles.

It appears CET Ltd are running a very dodgy business then as that is a lot of what they do or I guess it is really just all their customers who are dodgy...

Anyway. Thanks for the advice. I'll mull it over.

Rgds
Scott.
