could anyone please enlighten me to the purpose of thecoloured sleeving placed over the black neoprene sleeving found at the termination of mims cable..also anyone know any regs governinr extractor fans

What about replies to his second question about extractor fans.
The replies are presumably expected to be based on Building Regulations and the requirement to shift 50 cu m per hour if the kitchen has no opening window?
Its also important to consider if there is any open flued gas appliance whose ventilation is going to be impared by installing an extract fan.
Or was it electrical wiring you were more interested in like using a two core cable for a double insulated fan?

already researched answers to all24 questions only been on course for 6months so just wanted to get some help from guys with a lot more electrical knowledge than me so not just asking for answers just their opinion
