The hob im fitting has 2 cables coming from it, (to cater for multiphase instalation) one of which has normal LNE strands, the other has 2 live and 2neutral strands joined together, plus an earth.
The supply to the hob is fed via 10mm t&e from a local CU, to a cooker switch to provide isolation.
Im assuming there is no issue with joining all the supply strands together within the cooker sw..?
Appreciate comment from someone who has fitted similar.
cheers

Some grey imports are designed for French split phase system and all that is required is to connect both together.

It is rare to find 380v hobs but not unknown you must read the manufactures instructions.

yeah thanks for that, just wanted confirmation of my initial thoughts. the manufacturers paperwork was brief to say the least..!
