Quick question about bitumen paint and cement render

Hi all,

Can a cement render be used over the top of bitumen paint or does a gypsum based plaster have to be used?

It would be worth your while to post pics of the interior and exterior, and investigate why bitumen paint has been used.

FWIW: slurry's can be used to give grip over bitumen or a another wet coat of bitumen blinded with sand, and typically, a render would go over in a remedial situation - but first the above.
