Quick. Question: Isolation switch

My timer fan has the following terminals

Live
Neutral
Switch Live

However the isolation switch has

L1
L2
Neutral

Using 3 core and earth can i get confirmation on the wire connection colours between the fan and switch?

Can i treat L1 as the Live cable (brown wire)

L2 As SL (Black cable with brown sleeving)

Neutral as the grey cable with blue sleeving?

Yes, of course.

The three switches are all the same. The markings could be anything - 1, 2 & 3 or A, B & C.

The markings are like writing R and L on your socks.
