Quickie - Do I need to mist coat Knauf Easy Plaster?

Actually - there was one other (related question).....

Does old plaster need to be mist coated? IE - where paint has flaked or peeled to reveal old plaster, or when you remove tiles, etc. does that need a mist coat? Or just fresh/new plaster?

You need a mist coat where ever there may be a porosity issue. Anything that may be porus and draw the moisture out of the paint will require a thinned down coat first.
