Quinetic light switch - sticky pads in bathroom?

Screfix have an entire category of extractor fans called "Silent fans", some as low as 12db

The switch/toilet will make more noise
A kinetic switch noisy? Pull cord yes but are these noisy?
Either way, we currently have a pull cord and anything would be less noisier than that. :)

I like the idea of the kinetic switches because I do not need to leave a hole in a tile if it does not work out and I can have them inside the bathroom with no worries about getting shocks when it's damp in there (assuming the fan has not been used).

Everything is going to be wired back to a little wiring center under the floorboards at the top of the attic stairs so I can change the configurations to suit.

I think I'm going with the Vent Axia 100mm silent fan.
Screwfix is only a 5 minute walk away from me so I'll basket what I think I need and discuss it with my bathroom fitter guy Monday.

I've only tried the minigrid and architrave versions of the quinetic switches. They seem to make about as much noise as other plateswitches (much less than a pull cord).
