Hi

For a group activity, held indoors for 20-30 people, I need a device that buzzes. It should buzz continuously for as long as an activation button is pressed using a finger. It shouldn’t vibrate, or play any alarm/siren tune - just a simple buzz sound, that in most cases will be activated for the briefest of time while someone is talking.

I’ve had a look online for quiz buzzers and not found anything below £20 that comes ready made. Most make an array of siren/bell/laser sounds that last a couple of seconds, which is way too intrusive for our needs.

So I thought a wee diy project, but could do with advice on what to order?

A buzzer, a power source (ie a battery), and a doorbell type button. But these need to be compatible of course and that’s where I’m pretty clueless.

I was looking on this site: https://www.switchelectronics.co.uk/
But of course happy to shop elsewhere.

Thanks
