I hope it's okay to post this here. How much would be "reasonable" for the following work on a 1960's mid terraced 2 bed house?

"To replace The bottom row of under felt and battening on the front and back of the house roof fitting eps felt support trays
Then re-fitting your tiles.

Fitting felt around the chimney if needed cement flaunching the top
Re pointing the brickwork and spraying with brick sealer to make water tight.

Cementing the 2 ridges.

Also replacing the broken tiles on the small lower roof at the front.

All guttering will be cleaned out after works are completed."

I've been quoted £2,100 all inclusive.

The problem is big damp patches in both bedrooms under the effected areas. I've had two independant contractors diagnose the problem and have been up on the ladder myself to look at it with the tiles off; the lower battons and felt are shot, and water is obviously getting in further up around the chimney stack.

Felt and battons higher up are sound and felt condition from inside of loft is generally good.

The reference to cement flaunching suggests there is no, or no adequate lead flashing.

Blup
