If it had been a women only race, with male children under 12 allowed also, no-one would have batted an eyelid.

Equality in sport is desirable until there's erm.. equality, then it becomes an issue.

The specific even that transam referred to was a private event, not a public event so was not subject to the same rules as a public event would have been.

His response to the mosques ban on woman and girls “ there is no room for criticism “ because the event was about celebration ???

Rahman posted pics on social media where he was centre stage at the run dishing out medals to the winners
