rad temperatures

Have a potterton boiler... gas... 8 rads... the temperature off these rads range from 36degrees - 45 degrees after bleedin them.... is this a low heat output.. have thermostat up full wack.... is there another way to get rads hoter...

Adjusting the room thermostat makes no difference to the temperature of the radiators, it only changes the target temperature the room has to reach before it shuts off the boiler.

The temperature of the radiators is controlled by the output of the boiler and the flow rate to each radiator.

The flow to each radiator is optimised by adjusting the lockshield valves to balance the system. Have a read through the wiki entries on balancing.
