Just had a rad off (decorating) and the trv seems still to be dripping?
I presume the trv isn't closing fully?
With the top off should the plunger be able to be depressed easily? (by hand)
Rehung it anyway to stop dripping...when flushing out the rad didnt eem to get hardly any muck out? Turned it upside down h/pipe opened bleed valves?
System been in since 1999 (sime combi)

You should be able to depress it by hand, but should also feel a good bit of resistance when doing it.
