Radial Circuits

Radial circuits in two flavours:

A2 4mm2 cable combined with a 32amp Mcb
A3 2.5mm2 cable combined with a 20amp Mcb

as these radials are always refered two (in regs etc) why do other combination of radials not get a mention ie:

16A radial run in 2.5mm² twin and earth for heaters etc?
6a lighting
45a shower etc etc etc

just seems that only radials allowed are the a2/a3

Those are the 2 radial options in the On-Site Guide (not the regulations) for socket circuits.

You can have any circuit you like for any purpose, as long as it complies with the regs...
