Radiator Bother

I have tried balancing the radiators in our 400 year old cottage without success.

When our bedroom radiator is hot, the one in the hall downstairs is cold and vice versa.

It seems I can have one or the other hot, but not both together. Is there anything I can do about it ?

WOW !!!!! a 400 year old central heating system - I bet it's not an Ideal boiler

It could be that you have a partial blockage in the system.
More info please on the type/make/model of boiler and system.
