I am going to have a gas safe engineer fit a new Worcester boiler 30si into my house, before he starts i want a run a routine cleaning on the existing radiators prior to the installation, what cleaning agent do you people in the know recommended i use in the system

Thanks in advance

Dont use an installer that doesnt clean the system when installing your new boiler

thanks for your quick replies, no he is not going to power flush the system, he said to use a cleaning agent prior to fitting the new boiler, then he will drain it out and refill with a inhibitor

hi Andy no not cash I would not do that, he did mention a few cleaning agents, just wanted a second opinion. he has fitted new systems for me in the past without any problems he said I could add the cleaning agent in the system,

as Herts said, why isn't he doing this, any decent installer won't leave it upto the customer

the installer will clean the system when he puts the new boiler in, all he was suggesting is that I put a cleaner into one of the rads a few weeks before he starts so that it can run through the system and give it a clean, I was just asking what cleaning fluid would be the best to use,
thanks for you replies they are helpful
