Just curious to know. Could you install trv both side of rads? Is there an adapter to turn trv into a lock shielf

I have a friend in a apartment who has one both sides. Wonder why
Because either he, or his installer is a half wit.
I was gonna tell him to change it. If they are both set to full would it matter?
Lockshields have a non-mechanical cap for a reason!
