close the valves on your rad and empty the rad by undoing a nut on the valve...the one nearest to the rad...this will allow the water to drain from the rad in to something ? a pan, a bucket etc...what ever u can under it.
once empty undo the other side and take it off the wall.
put a towel below each rad valve, close the valves. then crak the connections and try to lift your rad off the brackets. you will then be abl to lower it to the floof still connected. tighten the connections to stop any water escaping and paper to your hearts content
this is the cheaters way of doing it, so i take no responsibility if it goes (.)(.)'s up...............
