Hi,

We are in the middle of decorating this room and want to reposition this radiator around 2.0m further along the wall. It is also a bit undersized as the room was extended since (i assume) it was installed (prior to us moving in). The room is 7m long and 5m wide.
Using a BTU calculator it is presently around 5-6,000 BTU and I need around 10,000 BTU.

I am thinking of having a type 33 triple panel radiator installed (600 x 1200) which will give me the output I need. We have a 40kW combi, which is probably way over rated for the house, so should cope with the bigger radiator.

Before I start getting quotes, what sort of cost (excl Rad cost) would I be looking at to drain the system, remove old rad, shorten pipework by 2m and refit the new one before refilling the system? The pipework is external (concrete floor) and 15mm throughout.

many thanks
