Need to pull some radiators in my new home to redo wood floors etc. Radiator has a valve on one side and none on the other...What can I do to remove radiators from one room, but still have heat to the rest of the house??? Drain system take radiators out and cap pipes off?? Then refill system? Any recommendations are appreciated...

Seems odd

this is a UK site

over here we always have a valve at each end.

One has a handwheel or thermostatic head to turn the rad on and off

at the other end we have a lockshield valve which has a plastic cover over the spindle so it can be set and then not touched again. but you can take the cover off and close the valve for maintenance like you need. Valves are so cheap I'm surprised you don't have something similar. Can you show us a pic?
