I am about to install a new c/heating system in a new property,[for myself] do I need to be as accurate as possible with the rad sizes, or am I better going over the top and letting the TRVs do their job.
Also what is your opinion on the bar type thermostatic shower controls???
Thanks

You will probably find when choosing your rads that there isn't an exact match for your calculations. Go for the slightly higer BTU rather than lower, but make sure that your bolier can accomodate all of the rads.

Rad sizes are surprisingly uncritical. It's more important to have rads about as wide as your windows and underneath them, to avoid draughts. If you have to go 20-30% over to get that, do it. A you say TRV's will sort the temp for you.

Bar mixers - they go from £25 to hundreds. Some fail quick and are too slow. Grohe is OK.
