Radiator sizes

Hi,

I'm sure this is a question that has been answered a number of times but I just want to be sure before making an expensive mistake.

I am replacing 2 radiators and want to know what sizes to buy, both are singles:

Actual radiator 400mm x 1915mm : Pipes 2000 mm
Actual radiator 600mm x 1760mm : Pipes 1860 mm.

I think they are awkward sizes so any advice would be much appreciated.

You need to do fabric heat loss and ventilation air change loss calculation, to size correctly.

Is there any movement or access to the pipes at all? Do you have to use those sizes?

Thanks for the reply. I don't think there is very much movement in the pipes as they come straight out of the floor. Also, the rads don't have to be the same size.

What type of floor? is it possible that the flow/return pipes can be altered to accommodate the selected radiator?
