radiator tick tick tick when heating up

Hi all

I had a full new central heating system installed. All radiators fine except the one in my bedroom is driving me nuts. When the boiler is turned on the rad makes a loud tickling sound every 5 seconds for the first 10mins whilst the rad is filling up.

Installers have been out twice. First guy told me to cut more space around the flooring where the pipe sits ..... lot of rubbish as we tried this! 2nd plumber said its expanding/contracting of the pipes. If this is the case then why are all the other rads ok?

Please help as my 1 year warranty is up next month.

I meant to add ..... if I apply pressure to the radiator against the wall, the noise stops. Perhaps the rad hasn't been fitted properly?

Probably just missing the little plastic lugs on the brackets.
