Hi All,

I have just changed the radiator in my downstairs loo. I have used one of these telescopic adjusters as the rad is slightly smaller. Everything is great, except where the adjuster goes into the rad, there is a slight leak. I have tried everything, Loads of PTFE, not much PTFE and everything inbetween (wound clockwise and anti clockwise just to be sure!), and different levels of tightness on the joint., I've even tried another adjuster, as there were two in the pack! Can anyone suggest anything I could try, or maybe an alternative to PTFE that I could try? It's really annoying me now as I can't lay my flooring until I have got it sorted!!

Thanks

HI

use PTFE first (lightly) then smear fernox LS-X leak sealer (paste)
over it .let it dry for few hours then it should make a perfect seal.
