We have a recent side extension but the 3 new radiators fitted are not working.

The plumber told us to replace the pump with a better one but this did not work and then concluded that it was our old oil boiler and that replacing it was the solution.

We have put up with the cold room for a year but this winter we replaced the boiler with a new condensing boiler. The heating to rest of the house has improved but these 3 radiators are still cold.

The plumber asked us to turn off all the radiators in the rest of the house and when we did this two of the radiators heated up but a third one remained mainly cold and only a bit hot at the very top. We turned all radiators back on and those two radiators remained hot however the next day all three radiators were cold again.

We thought there may be sludge in the one that did not heat up but why are the other two only heating up when we turn all the other radiators off then on again. The plumber has stopped taking our calls. The original heating system is 30 years old.

I would fit flushing fluid into your system and drain after a couple of weeks and refill. Also fit a magnaclean and then balance your system.
