Radiators - Some cold sometimes, one cold all the time

Hi,

Complete plumbing heating novice here.

Got a vokera combi boiler which was put in with a new system (9 rads) about 3 years ago.

Got a problem with 3 rads which has been ongoing for over a year and don't know what to do ... any help greatly appreciated.

Problem: One rad, upstairs NEVER gets warm at all. The TRV is on fully open but rad doesnt get hot ... both piepes connected to it are always cold.

Two other rads have the same problem as the above one but it only seems to happen intermittentyl with these two.

Any advice as to what I should be doing to try to rectify these probs?

Check the pins on the valve is not stuck down (remove the TRV head).

Is the system balanced?
