I wonder if anyone can help me...! I have a Range Powermax 140 boiler. Couple of days ago the radiators stopped working. When I the boiler switched to "timer" the boiler wont fire up, yet the central heating flow & return pipes are getting hot, & so are various other pipes. The thermostat that controls the downstairs rads will not click on or off. If I switch the boiler to constant hot water the boiler will fire up, yet it doesnt sound quite right, although, I am still getting hot water ok. The pumps in the boiler are also getting hot. I know its not freezing at the minute, but I wouldnt mind a bit of heat!! Can anyone help me out there????!

is the pump still working ?...undo the screw and have a look..

Someone is going to come and check that for me later. Would the pump still get hot? I've been told the thermostat is electronic. Would the pump not need to work for me to still get hot water? Thanks.

Thanks ollski. I hope its just maybe the central heating pump thats clogged up! Any more ideas??!
