Radio won't pick any channel/station

HI,
Re my Megane 1.4 16v 2001.
After dead battery, radio went on code, i input the code (from service manual) and it came on. However only cassette player works and radio does go on but it does not catch any station no matter how much i keep tuning it (manually and auto).

can anyone pls help in sorting it out.

maybe the rds or af function needs to be enabled?

Has the radio been out of the dash at any time while you were doing this?

HI,
the radio was out when i needed a code for it i gave it to mechanic. but then when i put it back,i used the original code from its service manual. now the cassette players works but radio won't pick any channels/station but just the buzzzzz sound.

its so annoying

Take it back out and make sure the aeriel is plugged in properly.
