Hi all,
The tops of my rafters are wet. The wood is solid and not spongey. The felt lining is also wet on the inside.
I’ve noticed on my roof the verge tiles have slipped. And I noticed that huge chunk of mortar on the sides of the verge is missing. This is low Down on the roof
Where the verge is missing mortar the rafter inside the roof within 2m all have the tops wet. And even higher up than the location of missing mortar.
Is it possible that these rafters are wet from the missing mortar on the verge? Even though where the missing mortar is is lower down and affected rafters are 2m away.
Or is it possible I have a leak higher up.
As a result from this I have mouldy bedrooms where water is getting in.
Thanks
