I was out in torrential rain doing a walk round the island with Clare Balding for her Radio4 'ramblings' programme, this was organised a couple of weeks ago when the weather was perfect and I told her researcher that it would almost definitely rain on the day, but I didn't expect that much!!!
and today guess what? Sunshine!!!

I don't know but it seems her new series starts in july, I'll post the dates when I know, I've got a BBC2 film crew coming to see me on Tuesday but if its anything like the last one it'll be a case of blink and you'll miss it I've got a new book out, so hoping for some free publicity.
