I would like to raise my window sill by an inch and need some advice on the material to use.
Originally I was thinking of using some mortar/plaster to raise it up but now I'm wondering if a piece of wood on top of the existing plaster would be okay?
I had a wooden framed window with a tiled sill. I now have a uPvc window and want a uPvc sill.
If I placed a piece of wood on top of the plastered cill, then placed a uPvc on top of the wood, would any problems accrue?
