Range Powermax Programmer

The programmer on my Range Powermax 140 boiler no longer works - the LCD has gone blank. Can this be reset?

Having phoned the manufacturer, the best price for a replacement was £60. This seems pretty steep. Does anyone know if I can get it cheaper than this, or are their any compatible programmers I could use instead.

I think the retail price is a couple of quid short of 100 quid so 60 is pretty good, they are proper junk but range say you cannot use a substitute clock, therefore you can't. Sometimes you can press the far left button and second in from the right I think and it may reset, but try all the combinations it is 2 buttons together that resets it.(rarely)
