Hi, unfortunately for me I've done no research and had a plumber 'mate' pick out and fit me one of these boilers. Now it seems to fire up briefly for say half a second when i turn the cold tap off?? Very confusing? Any idea why this maybe? It did stop for a couple of weeks but I needed to turn the water off so I could fit a shower in the bathroom and now the problems back. Any advice would e massively appreciated?

Thanks for your quick reply. I have just been looking on other forums similar to this problem and they say the same. Where the Old hot water tank was there are two copper pipes coming up still with water in them, im assuming this is going to be my problem as they haven't been caped or drained at all? Is this the workmanship of a half arsed plumber by any chance?
