I can only get hot water when the heating is on, which is rather uncomfortable in this weather! I suspect a motorised valve, but if so where is it located?
yes its definately the giananni diverter valve, you can get a repair kit but the valve will need to be removed, then you will need a new washer set, and then all the screws can be removed to be able to fit the new diaphram kit, i never bother i just fit a new complete valve its cheaper labour wise
IF you do it whatch out because the isolation valves Will leak and drip when you turn them off //// but dont worry to much as when the heat gets back on they usually self seal again
I have done hundreds of them
best of luck mick
