Ravenheat combi boiler

Hi,
I have a Ravenheat combi boiler. It is probably at least 15 years old now

It has stopped holding the correct pressure - pressure shoots up to around 3 bars and the water discharges continuously out of the overflow pipe to outside until I manually depressurise it. Water temperature in the shower also fluctuates now and won't hold a steady temperature, going from warm/hot to tepid.

Anyone had this problem before and what part needed replacing to fix it? If I get an engineer out if not a simple part to change any idea how much it would cost very roughly?
