Hi. I have a problem with the heater, and it started some time ago. At first, the heater stopped switching on after opening the hot water tap on 2nd floor. Next, it didn't work from time to time on 1st floor, yet the central heating worked fine. Now the heater won't start working properly on either central nor water heating. The heater seems to start on central heating - I can hear some kind of turbine going for a while, and the fan attatched to a coil (not sure what it is - not an expert) is working, but the flame doesn't burn. After a while, the heater switches off and the indicator with the flame lights up. Is there anyone who could help me please?

sadly it sounds like you have already taken the combustion chamber front off, this is beyond the scope of DIY, you really need a RGI out to sort it, it certainly wont fire up without the combustion chamber front on
