A friend of mine called me and said their CH pressure has just started rising for no reason, I asked if anyone had topped the sytem up recently which they had, so I assumed that the tap/iso valve had been left on slightly. When I went to have a look, the water had not been left on, so i relesed the pressure through a rad (took it down to 1 1/2 bar) but within the next 15 mins it had risen back upto 2 bar, does anyone hav a cure???

Thanks

V

I Assume boiler is shut down.
If it only takes 15 mins to go up try turning stop tap off to make sure iso valve is not leaking.

The valves are fine and I have discon the filling loop, is it worth draing down the entire system and starting again???

SCRAP THE BOILER??? are you having a laugh, anybody who says that about any boiler that isnt ID shoudnt be working with gas. - because it sounds like they dont have a clue!

It dont matter what make of boiler or what the fault is - there is always a solution.

i hate seeing people slating boiler makes.
