As a person often known to 'develop' threads, or even take them off at rather obtuse tangents, I would be the first person to hold my hand up if I thought I was guilty. However, on this occasion I have to agree with DetlefSchmitz, and plead essentially not guilty. Once you had, very early on, answered the OP, it seemed (at least, to me) to be both natural and reasonable to make some comments and initiate a discussion about the contents of the ERA report you had provided the link to and about its implications/consequences etc. - something which I personally do not regard as 'h-ijacking'.
I'm sure that ricicle won't have to wait too long before I, or someone else, provide him with a much better nomination for the 2013 award
