i've installed a 100mA TD RCD in place of the existing voltage trip. Sockets are on a seperate 30mA RCD circuit. Readings are fine until i test the 100mA RCD. When for instance i test the cooker radial for trip times, i'm getting roughly 300ms on a 1x test. But on 5x it dosnt trip. when i test directly at the 100mA RCD i'm getting a reading such as >50v. Can i test the 100mA RCD thru the sockets by putting my tester on the 100mA setting or am i missing something? The EFLI is in the region of 150ohms. Is this too high for the RCD to function correctly? Is it coz i got a time delayed RCD as the main incomer?

Why are you trying to test a 100mA RCD at 5x? It does not provide supplementary protection against direct contact.
