re basement brickwork how to seal?

My bathroom is in basement ,
some tiles were loose so removed them then saw wall -outside wall had Blown so hacked that of.
now down to bare bricks some below ground level.
area is 30" deep by 70" long.
have posted pictures in my albums.

1) what shall i use to seal this wall first.
2)then what plaster mix please/
3)what adhesive on the tiles they are big 41 x 30 x0 . 6 cm red clay on back?[/img][/b]

hmm, looks like you got salts coming through the brickwork, gues it's a tad damp down there? it will need tanking:

this will stop the damp and moisture getting back through to the plaster work causing it to blow again.

do wait for a second opinion though before going ahead but fairly sure it's the best solution to your problem.
