Hi All

Big project on

Away to re-board my bathroom ceiling with 12.5mm moisture board

Do I need to apply no nails to the joist before I put

the boards up?

Also do I sock the tape before applying it to the filler?

There's no need really, to apply no more nails to the joists. As long as you put plenty of screws in, (overhead) every 6 to 8 inches, that'll do fine,,,, and no,, you dont have to soak or wet the tapes at all, just bed them well into the wet filler.
